Twice a year, UNI faces exceptional traffic peaks during its admission and enrollment processes, where thousands of users access the system simultaneously. After these events, demand drops drastically, generating capacity inefficiencies, cost overruns, and system downtime risk.

Our proposal

Amber implemented an elastic architecture on AWS, based on Auto Scaling Groups and deployed with AWS CloudFormation, enabling dynamic scaling according to real demand.
The infrastructure was designed to maintain high availability, real-time monitoring, and cost optimization throughout the academic cycle.
